If an employer wants a driver to have a reduced daily rest but the driver feels he needs a full 11 hours to recover. Can the employer force or discipline the driver for refusing?

Had to clime out my seat to get a picture of this absolute tool! As well as every other one of them parked there, giving me glares as if ready to hurl abuse at me if I dare say something! Shoe on the other foot you know they would kick off! One rule for us and another for them. I was a lorry driver for a couple if weeks and certainly got a grasp of how they think in those two weeks! Telling me I don't know how to reverse as I only drive busses and coaches and mocking us for not being as good as they are. Exhibit A certainly proves otherwise! He even knocked one of the other lorries trying to get in here! All to save him the trouble of walking a few extra steps from the lorry bays behind! Morons!

We have lately been delivering a new Tesma but has no DVD player and set up for USB format only. But every time we put a USB in it comes up with error. We have also tried calling Tesma but it’s like talking to a chocolate fire guard.

What is a decent wage for a class 1 driver?
Obviously experience is dependant so assume they have been doing it for a couple of years.

I have DAF LF 2014 PLATE EURO 6 I have changed EGR, Nox sensors, differential sensor, manifold pressure sensor, adblue pump and still not able to solve the problem on the computer it says now VTG Turbocharger actuator. Has anyone experienced this if so can anyone help

What is the world coming to? Can’t connect to my trailer because it isn’t on level ground have to wait for the shunter. 🤣🤣🤣
Just to clarify, the trailer is facing ever so slightly down hill, site rules say I can’t pick it up the shunter had to pull it out of that bay and put it into another bay. H&S b#llsh#t.

I'm salaried, class 2, is £445 a week bring home good, sometimes I do 35-40 hours other weeks I can do 45-50 hours, that puts me below minimum wage, I like the company, I sometimes get nights out which is paid £34:75, just wondering if it worth going for class 1 with my own money, limited to 2 nights out a week due to family.

As a new driver I find it very irritating that all experienced driver would rather wait for you to get close to there truck before abruptly sounding there horns if you see some one struggling into tight spaces I'd of thought the decent thing would be to help out we all gotta learn somewhere my new name for the individuals are basically w**kers might as well be the Karen's of truck driving world. 🤣🤣🤣
