Re: Has anyone recently used Logistics UK for a DVSA Earned Recognition audit? Ive had a less than acceptable experience

Logistics UK (previously known as FTA) is a bunch of fools. When I went to take my TM CPC exam with them several years ago, they were so stupid as to forget to put my name on the list so I lost 3 months until the next exam even though I had sensed that I was dealing with disorganised idiots and aske...

If you aren't increasing the total number of authorized vehicles, a bank statement is not required. But you'll need a public notice for the new location. The rest is here:

Technically no but you can add them to your licence in a minute. Just login to VOL, click on your licence number, then "Safety and compliance" and add them there as a safety inspector, it takes only a minute and you don't need any approvals. thank you 😊 Also, sign this contract with them:...

In the future, negotiate your pay before you do the work. I usually do price my work but this one was last minute and I feel into it. When the hauler seen what all was involved he told me just to invoice what ever I was owed. Here's how you can price it: If you get £450 per month as a nominated TM ...

If you haven't already, you will receive a "brief" for the public inquiry which is basically a long letter where they will tell you what you need to do and the documents provide. Read this guide for what is normally required from operators: https://transportforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=10 Tho...

No, that's incorrect. You only need to advertise your new operating centre in the local newspaper of that area. Nothing about the old operating centre needs to be advertised. Use this template:

Hi SmalleyBe you just need to change on the online portal, no need to surrender, you select your licence apply to change. And justify the reasons alongside the reasons you are doing so. Exact same process as if doing a Restricted to Standard- standard to International. And vice versa. But worthwhil...

It's always better to withdraw your application than have it refused, it just looks better for your future applications.
The same goes for an existing license: don't let it be revoked. If you don't need it any more, surrender it, there's a link for that in VOL.

Yes.
– "TM required" ads (if you are looking to hire a TM) are allowed in the main group.
– "TM available" ads (if a TM is advertising their services) only in the "feed channel" that used to be a subgroup of this group but not in the main group.

You will need to submit an application to add yourself back on the licence like this: https://transportforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=1459 In some cases, they will do it really quickly when they see that it's the same TM. They may ask you why you were removed and now adding yourself back so quickly. Just...

Here's that part where you'd set it in Tachomaster when generating infringement reports. There should be something similar in TachoSafe.
