Case study R2 from today. Any opinions on this case will be much appreciated
Hi all, regarding the case study R2 from today, the only way to get the driver to the delivery point before 09:00 (French time ) is to take 45 minutes break instead of 35( mentioned as shuttle time) on the train. Otherways he will be there at 09:05 or my calculations are incorrect. Any opinions on t...

Re: Anyone take the City & Guilds exam today how did you find it?
What is the difference between the ‘City and Guilds’ and ‘OCR’ exam? Is it the same format? City and guilds is better. You can’t take anything into the exam but the questions are laid out in a format that’s not built to trick you. Ocr are snakey bastards that try and confuse you with riddles just my...

Re: O license question- 1 trailer behind one of our vehicles,1 on the docks/ferry,1 behind a customers vehicle in Europe
2 Behind our unit and the one on the docks? could be one. Who owns the second trailer How many, at that moment, are responsible for the.maintenance o If you’re responsible for the Maintenance on them than that’s 3, if you own them! Not correct I think its one. so you’d swap trailers here there and e...

O license numbers question.
One trailer behind one of our vehicles. One on the docks / ferry. One behind a customers vehicle in Europe. All owned by us.
For O licence purposes, is that 1, 2, or 3 trailers?

Re: To be PSV transport manager, can we do self- study? Is that achievable like that? Where to get the material from?

I purchased the material from my local training company. what do you recommend, and how long did it take you? If you are willing to put the effort in on your own (and it is a lot of effort) then do ...

Re: What u gotta do to get started as a transport manager
Get yourself a CPC, build up some Practical Experience (Traffic Office Work, Deputise, Shadow etc) for a year or two, and then find yourself an Operator! Think very long and hard before you start. Be very bad in a previous life this made me laugh 😂 Some people think gaining your CPC means your can a...
