No, new application required forgot to mention we are both on the license currently You’ll have to apply for a new licence in your name and surrender your current one. New application i would say No. Will need to reapply. Will have to prove financial standing in sole trader etc too. So you can remov...

Would the truck pass an annual test? If so yes, if not no Surely it depends what it needs repairing? If the doors hanging off and will kill a pedestrian, it's probably not worth it, if it's something that doesn't affect public safety you may be ok! You would have to apply for a National then upgrade to International when you have the appropriately qualified TM...

Just after some clarity.

Had over 45 hours off. Only 35 driving hours and 49 on working time altogether.
Can he do 6 shifts the following week? Hours wise he has enough. Hours have been sporadic this week due to the weather.

Re: If a company wish to change from a standard national licence, to a restricted licence
Why waste your money if you already have the o licence in place I would just carry on with that and then reassess it when your O licence is due at its 5 year renew.. You do not need a TM for a restricted license. Significant potential saving. you will have to do a full application again then. it is ...

If a company wish to change from a standard national licence, to a restricted licence
Could you please answer a question?
If a company wish to change from a standard national licence, to a restricted licence would it be a fresh application or can you just down grade the licence?
Cheers.

Re: Could someone please help with lock-in and lockout when downloading a the Tacho on wagons?
You need to lock the vehicle in to your company when you first get it, keep it locked in for the duration you have the vehicle. And then if you sell/de-hire for example lock it back out. That's great, thank you. I'm glad I've been doing it correctly. In bud Thank you! ☺️ Have you started a new job ?...

There is one saved in the files I believe, also use a wall planner too Just checked can’t see it .. Just use Google Calendar, set "Repeat every 6 weeks" or whatever the interval is for each truck with email reminders to yourself - that's your maintenance planner. Got mine of amazon about 4...

I quick question, hoping you can help restore my sanity... a driver gains class 1&2 in armed forces in 2016. Leaves armed forces and new job requires to drive a utility 7.5t rigid. Does this driver need to resit his theory, practical and complete 35hrs CPC training? Or just the 35hrs CPC training?

Yes, register on the VOL system and you should be able to do this change online. I've a potential client who still has a valid restricted licence but he's not had any vehicles listed for a couple of years and is not registered for using the VOL system !! It’s had issues for at least 2 weeks I know of, as it’s not calculating events or points correctly on reports, DVSA know this, as after I emailed them, they replied & said it’s across the OCRS system, not individual reports. = changing operators colour due to the errors. 149516818_10159156602215...

Just a heads up.
You can still access your test history and encounter reports, and can still book annual tests and top up your PFAs.

Re: What's people's thoughts on section 88. With specific reference to how vague the letter is
In general, I don’t have a problem with drivers using section 88. Generally, I look for evidence that a complete and correct application has been made (even if they phone the DVLA in front of us). I’m satisfied with a driver self-declaring the rest. so would you ask to see sight of the D4 before it ...
