RHA do a decent drivers handbook
I would recommend buying the RHA or FTA Handbooks - they are both about 140-150 pages long, cover off all areas nicely, and cost about £5-£7 depending on how many you intend to buy.

Has anyone completed the online training and sat the exams?
Hi all, I've joined this group as I'm want to become a transport manager. I've been looking but covid is preventing traditional training and being based in Anglesey, North Wales, kind of limits options for trainers. Has anyone completed the online training and sat the exams? I've seen a company adve...

Re: Anybody got advice on the best way to deal with software throwing up infringements for drivers having a break on POA
The first 45m of POA in the passenger seat is taken as break anyway, most tachos do this automatically. It strikes me maybe a problem with the tacho that they are not dealing with in an acceptable fashion? yeh it’s not the tacho it’s the analysis software causing the problem Hi yes sorry, I worded t...

It’s not an easy question. is it operated on behalf of a local authority? And is the service registered with traffic commissioners office? generally If it’s a registered service it falls within scope of BODS https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/f...

My client had a temp school contract throughout the pandemic covering when needed
Please excuse me if this is an easy question to answer..
My client had a temp school contract throughout the pandemic covering when needed. This has now been revised to a 12 months permanent daily contract. Does he have to register this on the bus open data service??
TIA

I was told a few days ago 2100/2600 is about average 🙈 so far out of 3 companies I’ve been offered 2300 average per week. I can’t seem to make that work with my calculations at least they’re giving realistic figures. Not like the “we guarantee £2500 minimum earnings” brigade 🤦🏻♀️ If no one was maki...

Re: Which ETMs here give toolbox talks as part of their ETM role?
Yep I do my own.
I’ve been to a pi (I was brought in after the DVSA visit/failings), & the TC like the toolbox talks the the operator has always done, and also what I had brought in, so I would of thought not doing them will have a adverse effect.
