Re: I registered with Friendberry for the home study package last summer with a view to sit exam in September
I don’t know which exam board friendbury use, we use OCR. The exam entries do not open until the 1st February so we cannot confirm our students entries until then, even so OCR may cancel the exam closer to the date like they did in June. Unfortunately it is frustrating for all involved and a lack of...

I registered with Friendberry for the home study package last summer with a view to sit exam in September
About registration for the test. I registered with Friendberry for the home study package last summer with a view to sit exam in September, but COVID restrictions cancelled that. Then Friendberry stopped answering my messages and calls and I missed the December exam. I have been now chasing them for...

I instruct my drivers when double maning to show a clear 15 minutes break on each driver after the cards swap over it seems to stop erroneous infringements shouldn't have to though should you Dave? That's a bit if software not fit for purpose. Shouldn't have to record any breaks double manning as Dr...

If someone has 2 operating centres with 3 vehicles at 1 and 2 at the other
Good morning all. I have been asked ...If someone has 2 operating centres with 3 vehicles at 1 and 2 at the other, and they only wish to continue with 2 vehicles at that operating centre what is the procedure for closing the 2nd operating centre and no longer having those 3 vehicles. Is it just a ca...

Re: Having a discussion about safety inspections and brake testing at the moment. A flatbed wagon and drag 44t.
Bingo My fleet has a RBT carried out every PMI, rigid, units and trailers. Don't understand why anyone wouldnt do it this way tbh To be fair unless you load it the brake test results are pretty meaningless disagree Andrew. Here is an unladen brake test on an 8 wheel tipper. What is meaningless about...

Having a discussion about safety inspections and brake testing at the moment. A flatbed wagon and drag 44t.
Having a discussion about safety inspections and brake testing at the moment. A flatbed wagon and drag 44t. As I read page 63 of GTMR we need a RBT every inspection because: The wagon can use a decelerometer but the trailer can’t. (Para 1 and 2). The service provider doesn’t use EBPMS. (Para 2). I t...

Re: Could maybe someone explain what went wrong there? As I am a bit confused reading this report.
Hi, it looks like a breach of the 10 hour night rule. Unless a the driver ops out or a collective agreement is signed then it must be 10 hours or below. The driver must have started pre 4am That's what I thought. So if I am driver, owner, and TM for myself in the eyes of law, should I sign agreement...

Try Optac! Fleetcheck is easy to use and does everything you need 👍🏼 and a sensible price Tachomaster and Trutac are both good and will do a deal for your business. You need to get in analysed Not sure if this is genuine question??? On the assumption it is, you need to upload it to your tachograph software to analysis... ( I.e tachomaster etc etc) This would be a part of your under taking as the TM. Hope your friend has nothing to do with an O licence everybody...

Re: . Vehicle does not have sensors or cameras, how does that work?
Ensure all is correct because if you don’t meet the requirements when stopped you will be rinsed of large amounts of cash At the moment all that 3 stars is stopping you getting a FPN for no accreditation that's how I was looking at it, but it's hardly clear on tfl site. Looks as far as I'm concerned...

Vehicle does not have sensors or cameras, how does that work?
Good morning.
Back to DVS again. Just put an application for permit on tfl and got 3 stars. Vehicle does not have sensors or cameras, how does that work?
Is it expected these are fitted or do they not have to be fitted, as a permit has been issued?
