I agree, I have had "temporary" position as ETM to step in where there was no TM , normally temporary would be fir sufficient time to get a permanent ETM in. Twice I have been permitted to be ETM about 160 miles from home, Cardiff for 1, and later after I left Cardiff , Aberystwyth. A lot ...

£500 1st truck then min of £100 per truck, however if taking over a company already in trouble may consider £120 or more per truck, once compliant you can lower the rate.

If you buy a new reader it should already be gen2 compatible, if you buy a 2nd hand one you may need to pay to have the firmware updated. Some cost £84 for the update !

At the risk of sounding overly patronising, if you need to ask such fundamental questions you are bound to fail. The best contracts are based on strong relationships and the many pitfalls can only be avoided with experience. Get a job in a traffic office at a good company for a year or two at the v...

Buy a dual purpose vehicle and trailer. They can be exempt and can have around the same capacity as a 7.5t. 3.5t are big targets and usually overweight A lot of variables, to answer the question fully would need to read exactly what the TC said at the PI. How much does it weigh now ? There is a form you can download on line, you submit it with the fee and they give you a date at atf. I rather suspect it will be about 2700kg so with a 80kg allowance for the driver would only give you a load capacity of 720 kg. Not much How many seats were you planning...
