Don't know why everyone thinks tramping is the answer... It isn't. No one pays parking or nights out and the extra you earn flitting around the country just goes on parking charges and night out payments and you just leave yourself open to diesel theft and to your load being tampered with. National average is 125,000kms per annum. After this you need to be factoring in additional depreciation and maintenance on the vehicle. So many variables job to job to blanket over with averages. I'd disagree.. you'll find most day rates are based on 300/330 miles per day which was £600 per day. I've seen rates dropping to £550 & £575 per day... Depends who you work for. Don't think of a number in your head and just expect people to pay it because they won't. And don't think if people w...
