The simple answer is no. I have heard but not 100% sure that if you wanted too, you have to book.

You used to be able to do a loop of the spur road unless it has changed of late.

I don't think the tip will be enough to pay the fine, I know years ago during seventies we always used go past it from Hyde Park Corner to Parliament Square or to Trafalgar Square,

its like the No Entry sign that most coaches ignore in Sidmouth to gain access to the hotels on the sea front or dropping at the castle in Windsor.

You can be fined by the Royal Parks Police for “unauthorized use of a PCV in a Royal Park”. Non-endorsable fixed penalty

but I've never received one in all the years I've been doing it.
I would often get parking fines in London as they were cheaper than paying for a coach park...or too lazy to walk miles or pay for a taxi 😁

driving through the parks is well worth the "risk" on high end work where a lot of £££ are involved.

don't know what guides do that every guide I've known have said no.
And it's common knowledge that no commercial vehicles are allowed to use it unless they 1 have a royal warrant or 2 have a permit to do so.

From the point it goes to to red tarmac by the gates.
There is a sign stating no left turn for commercial vehicles.

Commercial vehicles, including buses and coaches, are not permitted on park roads without a permit (see St James's Park section below). St James's Park: Coach drive-through permits (£7.20) allow coaches to enter St James's Park via Admiralty Arch to drive along The Mall and to exit the park via Spur Road into Buckingham Gate, or via Constitution Hill to Hyde Park Corner.

Coaches are not permitted on any other road in St James's Park, Green Park or Hyde Park and stopping is not permitted.

yes that sign is coming from Lower Grosvenor Place, I'm talking about from Tothill Street where there are no signs and if there are no signs it would be difficult for them to prosecute!

There was one coming from tothill Street side until the works started by the temporary traffic lights and the scaffolding that's out on to the street.
Same rules apply on entering any royal parks not open to Commercial vehicles and coaches.
Unless you have a permit to do so.

What I quoted above is from tfl website and Buckingham palace site. Yes you might have legal standing if you want to contest it based on your argument. As I said if it was legal every sight seeing bus would use it.

further more don't you think if it was possible the site seeing busses would pass in front?
yes that sign is coming from Lower Grosvenor Place, I'm talking about from Tothill Street where there are no signs and if there are no signs it would be difficult for them to prosecute!
Those that choose to will not only risk getting a ticket but cause others to suffer in the long run.
So as I said simply the answer is no don't use it.
