About Our Client
Established freight provider with businesses in the UK and Continental Europe.
Job Description
Ensure that drivers are advised of specific customer and jobs
Ensure containers from out based depots are set up to cover nights/followings day's business.
Ensure all legislative requirements are met
Adhere to a shift roster system
Ensure that all road movements are carried out in conjunction with customer requirements, predicting potential risks with regular contact with drivers in regards to late runners.
Maintain accurate communication with Customers, Contract Managers and Customer Services regarding progress of jobs, container numbers, and in particular, late runners in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain regular contact with Contract Managers to keep up to date with customer demands.
Ensure customers are notified promptly and dealt with politely and courteously.
Resolve customer problems as a matter of priority.
The Successful Applicant
Compliance and ADR knowledge
Be able to work effectively in a close team.
Have the ability to work alone as well as within the team.
Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.
Have a pro-active attitude to all issues to ensuring resolutions are achieved.
Be able to make decisions under pressure and to a tight timescale.
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year.
Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business.
By highly motivated.
Be PC literate in Word Excel and Outlook.
Should demonstrate the drive and desire to progress.
Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns.
