The current Government have pledged to make it 1 day employed to qualify for unfair dismissal however I do not belive the law has gone through parliament, I doubt it will be retrospective but maybe if you contact your new MP and ACAS it could be sorted. I do know that some drivers keep an accurate diary that they put a print out of each day's driving.
All drivers should do this.

for £20 you can download an app to your phone and buy a card reader, this can also be sent to a pc as a spreadsheet telling you exactly what you've done. You then need to speak to ACAS, if by any miracle you're in West Yorkshire give me a shout because i can do it for you

Depending on your skill with a PC might be worth you just grabbing a smart card reader, iv got one and then there a bunch of different free tachograph software for reading your card then you can easily look at what you've done on your card

Start a complaint with the company through their (what they should have) complaints procedure and submit a ‘subject access request’ (SAR). They should then, within 1 month of receiving the request, send you all information of your personal data. I am no solicitor but as the tachco information is personal to you then they should provide this too. In addition, you have rights to data portability so can get your hours sent in a format that a new employer can import into their systems. If they fail to provide this information within the 1 month deadline you can raise a dispute with the information commissioner office (ICO) who will review the case and potentially fine the company for non disclosure. Worth a shot (link explains the rights you have: https://dataprivacymanager.net/glossary ... 68c9e3f402

The ‘freedom of information act’ means you have the legal right to all information held on you
If you just need to print out from your card then you can buy taco card readers on line pretty cheep

Would a data Protection request not cover this there is templates on line you just fill in your details and what you want for information and cctv all they hold on you they got to comply with in the time or they are braking the law . I did it and won my case .

Make a request for your data under GDPR Legislation.
They’d be nuts not to comply as non compliance leads to massive financial penalties. 🙄

any data they hold digitally about you, they MUST provide to you upon request.
I’m seriously hung over or I’d dig it out, but Google “GDPR Legislation, my rights to my data”.
You’ll find all you need from .gov and information commissioner.

You could submit a data access request for the relevant information they then have a limited amount of time to respond to your request. I believe it’s 28 days.

I think if you have a signed contract of employment and it shows the hrs of work per week. Then the company has to pay you the hours that are showing on your contract.
Also if you have not had a contact( which is against law because it must show all terms and conditions of employment). If you have worked for the company without a contract of employment you still have rights in law as they have paid you and given you the same employment as a signed contract employee.
Also if you are in a union get them involved it costs you nothing except your union fees. Or citizen advice

You have to give a company a reasonable amount of time to respond to any request you make so you could put in a formal grievance to the company about the matter first before going to Acas to give them a chance to resolve the issue. Also it's one of the questions ACAS will ask you if you put a formal grievance in against the company when seeking support. If you don't have 2 years service my advice would be to request the companies own policies and procedures and see if there is anything you could use against them to get it to a tribunal there are occasions where you don't need 2 years service DM me if you would like to discuss this matter further.
