If you're a patient, safe driver with good people skills, you're the perfect fit for our driving team. All you need is:

a full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and some weekends
We have vacancies for Trainee Bus drivers wanting to obtain your Pcv licence at our Essex and Suffolk depots. Are depots are located in Haverhill Suffolk) Maldon ,Braintree , Boreham and Rochford areas .If you want to be part of a small team at one of our Essex and Suffolk depots , driving our regular customers to and from their place of work, or driving our school contracts to and from their designated schools in the the busy areas or countryside, and while doing all of this can deliver service with a high standard and a smile.
Then get in touch we would love to hear from you!?. You must have the ability to obtain a DBS clearance to drive school services. You must also need to be reliable ,enthusiastic and take pride in you driving ability, as this is the key factors, we want our drivers to have whilst working for us at Stephensons buses.

If you haven’t yet obtained your PCV licence then we can also provide you with help in obtaining your licence in our training school. You’ll be taught by one of our driving instructors. Training takes place on a Monday-Friday basis at the Training School rate of £9.50 p/h. Then once qualified and your training has been completed, you will then be put on our normal daily rate of £12.00 to £14.00 per hour . In exchange for your commitment and hard work we can offer:
Salary: £9.50 whilst training on our training vehicle
Monday to Friday Shifts £13.00 per hour
Saturday shifts £14.00 per hour

Permanent Salary: Up to £27,000.00 per year , once you have gained your Pcv Licence

Experience:
driving: 6 months
Licence/Certification: Car licence (required) Benefits: Free or subsidised travel for yourself and family

Free on site parking for staff on most of our depots

Small depot and rotas where you’re a name, not a number, working for a local company
No Sunday working on rotas or Bank Holidays (We do however cover rail replacement work on Sundays and Bank Holidays ,voluntary this is paid at £16.00 per hour )
