Role:

We are looking for an experienced external transport manager to join us on a freelance basis. Small HGV haulier operating 5 vehicles and 5 trailers (44t artics) with operating centres in the Rugby area. You will be listed as the responsible transport manager with the Office of the Traffic Commissioner and subject to their in-house application procedures. The post is for an initial 6-month minimum term.

Requirements:

International CPC Qualification.

Previous experience as an external transport manager in the road haulage sector.

Expert knowledge of Operator Licensing legislation, licence compliance requirements, vehicle maintenance practices and driver's hours regulations.

IT literate.

Good English language written and verbal communication skills.
