just want to make sure I'm right in understanding if a vehicle is on license as it's used for movements it cannot be used as a recovery vehicle and has to run on tacho to track mileage?

if you start you week on tacho you have to run the rest of the week on tacho. If your doing all recovery and no transportation then I would say as long as your within your 100km then you ok not to put your card in. But don’t quote me on that just how I see it.

It's pretty simple: If you're British, over 3.5t you need one. If you're Romanian you don't.
