we ran a 63 plate for 2 years... Bag of bolts... TCM went... Luckily the lease company picked up the tab at £4500 for just the bit... Brakes were shite and it didn't pull... Our 440 EGR MANs peeed all over it.. our local dealer took your eyes out whenever it went in for repair work and the parts were mostly full retail, and Mercedes only. I wouldn't run another..

Sounds like you brought a nail be a little more selective when you buy that one i had come of ebay i brought it cheap but from a good rental company home you cant judge a certain make of vehicle just by running one or em first daf i brought in 1982 was a proper nail and left a bitter taste in my mouth iv had about another 20 dafs since then it was just a bad un thats all them 2545 are making fortunes at the sales right now i was watching 66 plates making 30k at last cva auctions sale if they wernt no good they wouldn't be the top export truck in the world
