Scenario Road Haulage Distance between Operating Centre and ETM's office is 60miles (one way -1hour drive). Operator is authorized for 2 vehicles and 2 trailers.
Q) How many hours per week should ETM commit to TC while putting his name down as a new ETM as per suggested guidelines?
Q) Does ETM needs to add commuting hours to his/her weekly work or not?
Q) TC guideline says additional hours may be required for trailers, so how many hours per trailer needs to be added every week?

It rather depends on what the TM does for you. A couple of hours is fine, the TC won't ask for weekly working from the TM until your TM has 4 companies. They then ask for a letter from the TM on how they split their week up and to include travel within it.

Chart states something like 4 to 8 hours per week for only a couple trucks and trailer, I'm sure this info is actually easy accessible on line also sure it gives example on application for o license. Traveling is not included in the TM side but is included in your working time as your traveling for work and not pleasure
