Logistics UK, formerly the FTA, is a well respected organisation which delivers the City and Guilds version. They do online or in room courses. But it's worth bearing in kind, online training does not suit everyone, and this is a difficult course. It isnt just an Attendance course.

It’s not the Learning - it’s where you take the exams. There is only one company to consider in Manchester - That is https://www.enterprisetransporttraining.com/.../online... - you would take the exams in either Bredbury or Chaderton. They do everything the above comments- it’s local to you. I am in the other side of the Pennies and have used Enterprise for all my clients training for decades with excellent results. They even have a Training Centre in Ancoats’s for your Driver Licence upgrades.

Not relevant to the thread - however to my earlier comment I use https://enterprisetransporttraining.com ... efresher/1 - it is a one day or two depending on what the Traffic Commissioner has requested as an undertaking. My restricted “O” licence holders and those TM’s who have not used and can not show any update in their training in the last 5 years are being target by the TC. Driver Hire is a Franchise - the give away is in the name. May be good at recruitment game but are new comers in the Training of Operators. Indeed quite a lot of the companies listed above can do the Training but you have to go to an approved training centre to take the exams. I personally would stick with Enterprise as they have been Training Operators since the 1990’s and are recognised by the T/C

Buy the training manual that's about £75 and have a couple of months reading besides it's an open book exam so one exam is multiple choice closed book next exam case study open book exam is around £150 for both but really you need to read the book but if you want to do a classroom course it can be anything between £1000/1500
I like sgtl at Derby I passed both HGV and PSV there exams are every quarter (3 months)
