Temp fix all day. Park a truck every time something like this happens, you'll go out of business.

Make an identical hole on the other side and can then be claimed as a design feature

Although this is obvious to most, if you're in doubt, check out the hgv categorization of defects. You can google it and its easy to find

It’ll need a winch or a wrecker, I wouldn’t be driving that up the ramps like that

That hole can be there until you retire- don’t need covering or anything else! As long as your inner spray flap is covering the inside of the drop wing nothing to worry about! You can use it as a cup holder when you sh*t 🤣

could technically be done for having a sharp edge on the vehicle if you had a really picky tester…

there are no sharp edges in a hole- but yes maybe 1 in 1000 testers

agreed maybe only 1 in 1000 testers, but you can’t say there’s no sharp edges in a hole, that looks like it’s been made from a rock of something that’s flung up, not been cut precisely and filed down…

would just get it repaired/changed at next VC10! It’s not a big deal.

agreed, the point I was making is that you can’t just leave it there like it’s not an issue, understandably it’s a serviceable defect meaning it doesn’t have to be brought off the road immediately

It’s fine and cosmetic and does not affect the Roadworthiness of the vehicle
