About Our Client
Our client is both VC and leading athlete backed and is about to embark on an exciting journey that will see a UK and EU launch in the summer of 2022. This is a one off opportunity to get involved in the future of the sports fan experience.

Job Description
The Logistics Manager will report in to the Head of Logistics and will be responsible for our clients warehousing (3PL run in London), primary and secondary Supply Chain operations in the region. This role owns the relationship with nominated logistics service providers ensuring they deliver the agreed service levels at optimal cost. The role owns the primary & secondary Transportation & Warehouse budget and service targets for the business. The scope of the role includes inventory management and visibility/accuracy of stock movements throughout the entire UK inbound and outbound network. Whilst on a remote contract you will be mainly operating from the London facility.

Responsibilities

Identify & deliver cost savings through sustainable continuous improvement and ongoing challenge of the logistics cost base.
Develop and implement high-impact projects for the area: process automation, sustainability, savings, process changes
Hold the 3PL's accountable to deliver key cost & service KPIs. Manage the warehouse and transport monthly/quarterly performance reviews and improvement plans.
Manage warehousing and transport capacity and mitigation risk plans.
Support the development of strategic partnerships with service partners.
Drive inventory management to exceed speed to market targets.
Drive operational efficiencies to reduce the Logistic carbon footprint.
Own and manage photography booking process - ensure this is succinct with inbound processing.
Own the transportation scheduling across all clubs/partnerships in the region.
Coordinate stock removal/putaway in preparation for photoshoots.
Manage all consumables/materials held in the region.
Assist Head of Logistics to align operations, distribution network and strategy with regional and global logistics priorities and strategy.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Logistics Manager will be able to commute to London regularly and be able to demonstrate the following experience:

Operational experience in Logistics or Supply chain (warehousing, transportation and/or managing 3PL/4PL providers).
Previous start-up experience would be advantageous
Demonstrated experience in managing 3rd party logistics providers and strong negotiation skills.
Strong analytic skills including the ability to powerfully portray data and drive continuous improvement.
The ability to build business partnerships and external collaborative relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Project management experience.
Demonstrated LEAN practices, LEAN certification is an advantage.
A keen interest in the sports industry
What's on Offer
The successful Logistics Manager will earn a basic salary of between £50,000 and £60,000, plus a benefits package to be determined, but likely to include hybrid working, pension, healthcare and unlimited holiday.
