No cords exposed so perfectly legal. just write it on your daily check sheet and report it 👍

Agree. Our old company brought in a guy from Bridgestone to talk to us about tyre defects. He pretty much said that as long as the chords aren't showing it's perfectly fine. Also, the side of the tyre where this is, is just rubber and not part of the tyre structure.

Had something similar on a front tyre last Friday, reported to the office and a new one was fitted before I got back in the truck Monday morning

3. If a cut which is more than25mm or 10%of the section width whichever is the greater, is opened with a blunt instrument and cords can be felt but not seen this would be a deficiency under 1a.
Before failing a cut as listed in 3 above, you must ensure that it is definitely the cords that are felt and not a foreign object.
1 A tyre:
with a cut which is deep enough to reach the ply or cords, and is more than 25mm long, or 10% of the section width, whichever is greater.

If that's a Bridgestone, get it changed. Seen 2 of them cracked like that, then they fell to bits.
