but you don't know what driving busses is like so don't try and put a guy off driving lorries when you don't like it. I've driven busses and currently drive class 1 so I'd say to him it will be a good move for him to make.

i worked for some bad firms i worked for great firms and some outstanding firm. It was all shite all wank expectations wank hours. Retrained got a degree and 8 hour days and more money and home every night at 4pm. Thats why i gave it up not because i dint like driving them. The daily grind of abuse, do this that ya a driver nowt more and ya not coming home today. not allowed using a toilet or having to shit in a bag under the trailer in the middle of nowhere, the not showering for 2/3 days because you cant get to one at night or have time to stop during them day because the pressure to get work done.

No telling them pal i wouldn’t waste your breath. He’ll be back on here in a month asking for another job because he’s doing 15 hour days or tramping and never seeing his family etc. both jobs have pros and cons and if they can’t hack bus driving and think it is bad they’ll hate trucks. Just my opinion though 🤦🏻‍♂️

Don’t listen to the negatives mate, the job is what you make of it. Get some experience on class ones doing anything you can then when you get the opportunity try and steer your self towards a specialist (non general haulage) job.
One below at Darton have a sign up wanting drivers, I’m not saying it’s any good but it’s a start.
