Location: TelfordSalary: £16 - £18 per hour
Due to additional workloads and continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity arising at our customers’ premises in Telford, Shropshire.

Full approved shunter training will be given before operating the heavy vehicles which will be held on site at Telford in order to familiarise you with your potential new surroundings and also to meet our duty of care under health and safety legislation here at Jack Richards.

Location:

Telford, Shropshire

Shifts/Hours:

4 On / 4 Off Days (06:45 – 1915)

** Temporary until end of March 2023 **

Key duties will include:

Ensuring speedy swapping of loaded with empty trailers
Strapping and photographing loads as required
Reporting any issues with loads to team leaders and ensuring remedial action is taken.
Skills/Experience Required:

The following are advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided:

Shunting – Terberg
Qualifications Required:

Hold a LGV (C+E) licence.
LGV (C) drivers may also be considered, subject to completion of training on reversing articulated trailers.
Earnings & Benefits:

Weekday – £13.62 per hour, Saturday – £14.72 per hour, Sunday – £15.60 per hour
Earn an additional £2.27 per hour Attendance Bonus if all shifts are worked (payable at the end of each four week pay period).
Holidays will be accrued pro – rata (Holiday entitlement is 20 paid
days per year, inclusive of Bank Holidays). During the term of the contract holiday entitlement may only be taken
during Magna Telford Christmas shut down period. Any remaining holidays will be paid at contract end
