They are registered under the business partner scheme. Its not as simple as PPM. You are given work loads. You need 25k liquid assets to apply for the scheme and its very limited only certain applicants get the chance etc.

if everyone keeps the prices up then they don’t have choices they are paying it! But load’s of people’s are going much cheaper unfortunately. But yes they are paying it when the demand it’s higher

Had £1.75 a mile off them before, Redditch to Bristol and also £1.55 on a Derby to Crawley.

I never get these complaints regarding Crown, even in my small van I always get around the £1plm with them

If you getting paid shit money by Crown, just look in the mirror, and that the dumb c… You should be blaming

Probably only certain people within the company will know this, and probably not the people who you deal with they will just have a target price/rate.
I often wonder if forwarding companies like Crown who don't operate their own vehicles look to make so much per mile or they just have a job booking fee regardless of job distance, their work load is the same for a 20 mile job as for a 200+mile job so I can't see why they should make more out of the longer jobs.
