Somewhere between 50p per mile what people want you to charge and£10 per mile what you want to charge

CX classifies a flatbed as a luton. We get problems with it all the time as we quote with our flatbeds but all the customer sees is luton so they assume it’s a luton. Then we turn up with a flatbed and say “didn’t you see in the notes that we told you it was a flatbed?” Often we phone to tell them (and of course get shouted at as it’s online quotes only 🤣)

Depends who, what, where and when. I’ve got three of them up to 5.4m long and the rates vary depending on the above.

Tbh I reckon about £2 per mile for a Luton + an hourly rate for waiting/handballing about £40+VAT . I know there's plenty out their that won't pay this but Its what you need to charge. I've got an 18 ton and some places trying to pay £2 a mile for that, but they're just taking the mick tbh
