Main difference here is that the italian contract is for a team driver block so it's normal to pay more.

An UBER driver makes more in the UK
Re: Afternoon all, For a Amazon UK Transport Owner fuel looks like free!!!
That's 144 hours for double manning.
I'm happy with £1750 plus fuel in mid March tbh, especially from Scotland.
My costs are pretty low and just little old me to pay.
Was brutal last year, was moaning like f**k.

My mate makes more with his newly lebara news corner shop that he recently opened. And only small decent one. He turns 4-7k per week with a small shop. Imagine and compare the amount of pressure, responsibility and stresses caused by a hauling business to the small shop owner.

exactly, own driving for two or three trucks is not worth it.Ian_bits wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 5:13 pm My mate makes more with his newly lebara news corner shop that he recently opened. depend what you doing and who your customers are. But if you have good job you can make around average £8000-£10 000 weekly turnover per truck. Just to do it you need 2 full time drivers per unit and job… My top weekly score in good old days was more than £11 000 but we switched engine off only when docked in bays on customer site.Hematian wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 5:13 pmexactly, own driving for two or three trucks is not worth it.Ian_bits wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 5:13 pm My mate makes more with his newly lebara news corner shop that he recently opened. You are really lucky to have a good paying job, but I tried so hard and still haven't found one and I really need it.Piotecto wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 5:14 pmdepend what you doing and who your customers are.
