If you are a transport manager, submit a form below and your details will be added to the TM Map App for free (see it at the top of this page). Operators and clients will be able to find you on the map in your area and contact you directly without intermediaries. The TM Map App was released on the 1st January 2025 and it has already been viewed over 110,000 times with more than 3000 additional views on average added daily, see the counter in the left side panel of the map provided by Google. At this rate, it will reach well over a million views a year. There's no better place to advertise or find TMs. Don't be discouraged by the number of other TMs already on the map which is currently 600. If you zoom in to a location, you'll see that there aren't that many of them in most places, especially if you take into account the number of transport companies in that area. According to the latest traffic commissioner's annual
report, there are currently 66,821 HGV and 5,451 PSV active licenses in issue and 11,383 operator licence applications and variations were determined in a year, so there's plenty of work for transport managers and other services providers.
In order to significantly increase the number of enquiries in response to your ad:
- Openly advertise your prices on the TM Map (ideally low prices), especially for simple and standard cases like a brand new application for 1 vehicle where no problems are expected and possibly for additional vehicles. Once you are at full capacity with 4 operators, you can start raising your rates. Here's a list of current market rates as a reference.
- Write longer and more descriptive ads with compelling offers including your abilities, willingness to travel, education, qualifications and experience even if that's in another field.
- Add pictures to your ad by sending them to [email protected] or to WhatsApp at https://wa.me/447833684449
- Add links to your website and social media, even if they are unrelated to transport. The more potential clients know about you, the better the chances that they will contact you.
