Never seen this before what does it mean please?
Re: Never seen this before what does it mean please?
It’s so the authorities can download your data remotely by pulling up alongside you. DVSA don’t yet have the technology, but they do in Germany. The van just pulls up next to you and you see the symbol on the screen of them downloading while you drive. If you select no then they will have to stop you instead which wastes more of your time and potentially leads to them finding other issues.
Re: Never seen this before what does it mean please?
I select no to both questions every day
Re: Never seen this before what does it mean please?
Its asking permission to download your card remotely. We have it come up when it's 1st time we've used that truck. Good system downloads to office everyhour. So we never have to download our cards in office
Re: Never seen this before what does it mean please?
Just put no to both doesn’t show up again.

Intelligent Transport System. Its a GDPR regulation to request your permission to release data....name etc. As previously mentioned if you select "No" it may affect the ability for whatever telematic system your company uses to record your name against your performance data.
Re: Never seen this before what does it mean please?
If u select no depending on the type of tracker system ur company has it blocks driver data from showing on tracker. Dunno how it affects auto card downloads as well so best to just select yes. Unless u got something to hide
Re: Never seen this before what does it mean please?
It's time they made it computised and easier to use like have a touch screen with break rest and flashes up when your close to break and it show your driver hours to at the same time then these silly simbles
