I applied in Leeds years ago. Got accepted, did assessment, etc etc, never heard mwt back, chased them up for months! One of my mates has been doing it for years here too.

Both are similar money per hour in my opinion but you will get far more hours in on the hgv’s and less hassle, passengers are a nightmare and shifts are pretty bad on buses but it’s easy. Both are equally sh*t

4 on 4 off is never that tho
Run in on day 5.
It's sh*te don't do it. Work weekends for sh*t rates

My mates just failed his 4th. It’s not hard driving a truck in my opinion, it’s just nerves it gets best of you

I know 3 lads who can’t even find work without 2 years experience so if you’re telling the truth that’s cracking. Grab it with both hands pal

3 months you may struggle as alot want 6 months and you looking at peak time as well

Unfortunately that’s why there’s a ‘shortage’ plenty of drivers but for various reasons some companies just ain’t worth working for. I know alot of drivers who’s returned to old jobs because of better conditions. That extra £££ usually comes with strings.
