Re: Hi I had a query in relation to WTD. If a driver is to work a duty time of 14hrs per day X 5days (70hrs) (driving
You seriously need to have a read up on what POA is, and how it works. yet none of you have explained it even though I have asked your definition? People rather just try and insult people for no other reason than mark can't hold a conversation I have no educational qualifications, but I do know tha...

Re: Hi I had a query in relation to WTD. If a driver is to work a duty time of 14hrs per day X 5days (70hrs) (driving
Do you know what POA is, and how it works? poa has to be arranged and disclosed the duration in advance lads, so it counts and off time which reduces your overnight if over 3 hours You seriously need to have a read up on what POA is, and how it works. yet none of you have explained it even though I...

Re: Hi I had a query in relation to WTD. If a driver is to work a duty time of 14hrs per day X 5days (70hrs) (driving
So does 3hrs POA mean you can extend your duty time to 18hrs then? 🤷🏼 no 3 hrs poa or rest consistent throughout your days work gives you a 15 hour card spread , with a 9 hour overnight required Do you know what POA is, and how it works? poa has to be arranged and disclosed the duration in advance ...

Re: Hi I had a query in relation to WTD. If a driver is to work a duty time of 14hrs per day X 5days (70hrs) (driving
that would be a period of break, not POA. Or for 3hrs 20mins you could use that time as part of a split daily rest. Jesus that nearly sounds personal, I am going to shed a tear So does 3hrs POA mean you can extend your duty time to 18hrs then? 🤷🏼 no 3 hrs poa or rest consistent throughout your days...

Re: Hi I had a query in relation to WTD. If a driver is to work a duty time of 14hrs per day X 5days (70hrs) (driving
.. poa has to be an arranged period of time in advanced i.e a ferry crossing ? Where you will not be working for example the 3 hr 20 minute sailing that would be a period of break, not POA. Re: Hi I had a query in relation to WTD. If a driver is to work a duty time of 14hrs per day X 5days (70hrs) (driving
no it doesn't, it MUST be a rest period, a period of time where you are able to dispose of your time freely. Amy periods of break or POA will not count towards a split daily rest. Also a split daily rest is not a reduced, all you're doing is splitting a regular daily rest period over two periods. I...

Re: Hi I had a query in relation to WTD. If a driver is to work a duty time of 14hrs per day X 5days (70hrs) (driving
24hr period minus 12hrs rest equals 12hrs duty time. It can’t be put any simpler 🤷🏼 Ye obviously working time directive in the UK rather than tacho legislative, its different across the waters a bit there It’s called a ‘split rest’, NOT ‘split period of availability’ 🙄 period of availability does t...

no it doesn't yes it does , split rest means if you have 3hrs of consistent down time throughout your working day , rest or period of availability,.you can reduce your overnight to 9hrs, that's tacho legislative, I don't really know or care what British working time directive is as I don't live the...

Re: Hi I had a query in relation to WTD. If a driver is to work a duty time of 14hrs per day X 5days (70hrs) (driving
Can only do 14 hours duty 5× in a fixed week if taking a weekly rest mid week. 15 hour, 9 hour over night after your three during the day will give you 24 hr, If you do a 14 hour spread and a 9 hour over night that would be 23 hours,, loosing a hour a day , possible 90kilometer a day , add that to ...

Problem we live in a global world. USA some states you give way to people coming on at slip roads some you dont. French and their colonies have priorité a la droit which means you have to let drivers on from side roads.

If you can't move right, slow down. The slip road is for getting up to cruising speed, it's easier for you and those behind you to slow down momentarily than for the vehicle entering to slow down and then accelerate again to join behind you, or risk running out of slip road. if you're taking about ...

Have you looked at the water trap on the fuel filter? I had a similar experience trying to get over the hills on the M56, crawling at 20mph with everything passing me, turned out the bowl was mostly filled with water from some bad fuel.
