The problem with agancy is they will take on 200 staff for say 50 jobs they have then they give drivers 1/2 days a week so your living on a shoe string and always promise it’s gonna pick up the week after next etc

Is it just me or does it feel like the wages for Hgv drivers is coming down and down?
I’m seeing more and more £12 a hour class 2
£11/£11.50 for 7.5ton
And seen class one as low as £11 a hour with a average of about 13/14 a hour

They are out there and you can earn good money if your lucky enough to get on a good company whilst being treated well.....

It's about the norm, most firms wants you to do as much as they can squeeze for as little as possible....... I'd be looking for a decent firm that actually values its drivers pays a proper wage and doesn't work you like dogs.

Just go for it mate follow your heart if you get the right job lorry driving is a cracking career get the wrong job and it’s a nightmare you will hate every min of it
