It is happening a lot. For gods sake keep your card and photocopy both sides when you send the renewal and make sure you tick the right boxes!

This is an absolute minefield. Policies should be drawn up with experienced help from a HR specialist and that dictates the practice. You should be using anything that works including ratchet nets if required. Get yourself on Pete Shepherds loading course. You will learn stuff that will blow your mind.

I found a printout online and handed it out as a start along with some you tube links. I was amazed how these worked, I may have been lucky, but I have drivers of varying intellect and they all seem to have grasped it really well. I still have a couple that flag up start country as an infringement ...

It sounds as though you need to choose your training provider a little more carefully. I'd be inclined to do a little research and book them (and yourself) on a suitable training course. One of the most important things when using the app is to use it properly. In a court last year, a driver was asked if he really could check all the functions inside his cab within 5 seconds!

Sounds like a bad run to me 4.20. Gets you there with out traffic so just in the 4 and half time And your making out to be drivers fault for going over 4.30 on way back because of traffic ? Do not ever listen to HR. In operator licence law this driver can get your licence revoked for failing to manage him. Personally, I would have sacked him.

But Network Rail is clear in their guidance to drivers as to what they class as a bridge strike I get that but define 'collision' same as crash, incident etc they have no legal definition. No they don't watch 24/7 yes its on 24/7 but they only watch it IF you have an accident then its there for your benefit to prove you not been doing anything wrong and no its not on when keys are out that’s not true.
