Advice for tramping

Hello All,

I never done tramping role since my 10 years of driving. All my job was a day job. Now I need to find some tramping work.

I would appreciate any advice regarding this kind of job.

How do you guys dealing with daily shower?
How the facilities look like in the UK?
Are companies allow the drivers to use the facilities?
Should I buy a gas alarm?

I’m not a HGV driver so this could all be wrong

Services have showers. I believe some you pay for. Some are not kept in the best condition.

Paying for these at a guess would come out of your night rate money

Personally couldn’t tramp myself if I got into haulage I enjoy a shower too much to go a day without one lol
