they only stay on coach until you go round the back. Then they get off and go on as foot passengers. The coach then goes towards the ship and reverses into the ship. This can be challenging if the sun is up your reversing into a dark hole.

don’t always reverse on. I’ve been there early enough before to be able to go in and drive round on the ship. Just sh*t of a gamble really.

I’ve never gone on without reversing. However I’m doing it on my bike in May. So that will be a lot easier. I’m

Driver will collect all the passports in,then take them into the terminal to be scanned, and also get the key card and boarding cards...They'll come back to the coach and hand them back out, then its round to the security shed where they check passports and boarding cards, they may also pick six bags at random from the luggage, whoevers bag it is gets off the coach to have it searched and a pat down for the person,if they havent got any semtex or TNT they get back on the bus...Drive about 30 yards, turn left the vacate the vehicle with their luggage and board the ferry, then you drive round and wait to be loaded, mainly reverse on,but sometimes drive on(rarely)...Bon voyage 👍

first you park in these bays and drop the passengers off to check in in the main building. They board back on and you proceed to the coach lane and follow it round

Follow the lane round into the shed for the standard security checks. Once done proceed out and follow the road as shown and at the side of the building is where the passengers get off and board as foot passengers

keep following the road as shown and follow instructions from ground crew and board the boat. It’s a good crossing so you’ll enjoy it. Basically a mini cruise ship

turn right here and right again to follow the road round just like you are entering to go back to Hull. Same procedure as dropping off, you park in the bays shown and they walk out to you. Make sure you use the outside lane as you don’t want to use the others as that’s to enter the car terminal

The driver collects all passports in,and takes them to the check in desk, peeps either stay on the coach or get off for a smoke/leg stretch...

Watch your mirrors for rogue flipflop Drivers on disembarking, otherwise you may have a remodelled windscreen.

What Mcleoddge said. Fold your mirrors in if you can. It’s a bit tight on there sometimes.

At europort tell pax to congrigate at the front of the coach, then YOU walk them over to the desk, get the coach and yourself chrcked in first, the the peeps show their passports and get key card/boarding card themselves, then walk through the termina to board the ferry...You drive round to where the cars check in,andthey'll probably tell you to wait in lane 6,the sniffer dog will come round and sniff the lockers, then drive down to the barrier, then through to the dockside, where you will no doubt wait ages to be loaded...😉

Is it best to collect all passports when they board the coach before getting to the port

tell your passengers to have passports in hand before leaving final stop and collect them in order walking up the coach and ask check in to keep them in that order and it's easier to hand them back out. Carry a wee plastic tub if you can to keep passports together
