You will need a DVs permit as well. Register for this on the government website.

The two things are different. Lez if you are euro 6 will not be a problem but dvs will be if you have no permit.Ernes-RRoy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 8:53 pmMBP723/HT719 - i registered him, why it shows this then?

I think it’s https://www.gov.uk/ the website.
Just done two of mine. Not straightforward.
You’ll need cameras on your trucks front and side.

you need to register it with TFL for the low emission zone if it’s a EU reg, we had the same thing with our NL trucksErnes-RRoy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 9:05 pmit telling me that I need to pay 300£ for LEZ, but other carriers telling me that I don’t need to pay anything if I have EURO 6, so who should I trust to?

You need to register with TFL. And prove it is Euro 6. I had the same problem.

If he’s going into London as a one off I wouldn’t bother registering for DVS. You will be better taking a hit on the fine than paying to have all the cameras etc fitted.. The fine is only about £250 or so if payed in a quicker timescale.. don’t quote me on that cost..
as for low emissions if your euro 6 then no problem..

don't forget both driver and operator get fined £550 for the operator and £130 for the driver.stmPitello wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 9:15 pm If he’s going into London as a one off I wouldn’t bother registering for DVS. that is true but it depends if the driver wants to pay a fine or he might just refuse to take it. I had a kit supplied and fitted by SMUK for £1100 so probably better to have one fitted in all honesty then if another job comes up they can do it with no worriesstmPitello wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 9:16 pmStill cheaper than a camera system etc for a one off trip into London.Aguaryan wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 9:16 pmdon't forget both driver and operator get fined £550 for the operator and £130 for the driver.stmPitello wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 9:15 pm If he’s going into London as a one off I wouldn’t bother registering for DVS.
