About Our Client
Our client is a medium-sized enterprise operating within the Transport & Distribution industry. Their strategic location in Reading enables them to provide efficient solutions to their diverse portfolio of customers.

Job Description
You will be reporting into the Logistics Lead and can expect to have the following responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all shipping and delivery processes
Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely deliveries
Optimise shipping routes to maximise efficiency
Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation
Manage relationships with logistics service providers
Resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process
Continuously improve shipping strategies to drive down costs and improve service
The Successful Applicant
The successful Logistics Coordinator will come with the following skill set

Experience in a Shipping or Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain role
Previous experience with dangerous goods
Strong knowledge of shipping legislation and procedures
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
