some councils require school contract drivers to hold either a private hire or hackney council badge to sit alongside their DBS check.henriee124 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 7:31 pmyeah, but what is the reference to min wage all about?
Why two rates mentioned?
A badge for driving school runs?

it’s dependant on the routes the driver would have but you would need a CPC/PSVhenriee124 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 7:37 pmso is pay 15 to 17 depending on experience?

a taxi badge was never said it was needed but and NYCC and to be a bus driver you need to have a license to do this - so you must have an issue reading which is fine, we can’t all be good at everythinghenriee124 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 7:43 pmbadge needed then no badge, different pay rates..... think i'll give your job a swerve as we say down southSwireen-Ms wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 7:42 pmI wouldn’t waste my time to post something that wasn’t a real job or join upto job forums either

different wage for different routes and experience, yes that’s correct.henriee124 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 7:41 pmdifferent pay for different routes? okSwireen-Ms wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 7:40 pmit’s dependant on the routes the driver would have but you would need a CPC/PSV
Very big different if you can’t even park up a 16 seater minibus, or you can manage to drive a triaxel on a country roads without wiping out other road users or the street furnitures, never mind causing many thousands of £££££ of damages to a vehicle.
Regarding badge, no you don’t need a taxi badge unless you carry out local bus service in an 8 seater taxi, however we are looking for atm bus/coach drivers.
The badge means NYCC (North Yorkshire county council) badge.
It means you have a clean dbs or if u have something on your dbs, the authority decided u still ok to work, if they gave you one.
Operators get penalties if the authority catches drivers on a council paid route if the driver doesn’t have the badge what they handed out.
Obviously they don’t want a convicted pedo to drive school kids.
I’m afraid you failed before an interview.
Thank you
