Coming back you can swap over. Just can't (or you're not supposed to) bring a vehicle into the terminal, so whoever is taking you off will need to park in the car park.

Everyone isn't the best experienced when they go over the water, it's about doing it yourself and learning your own way to do things - I find that it's best to be chucked in deep end as it makes you more confident when you can do it
