About Our Client
My client are an SME business who are looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator within their Chesterfield headquarters. The business has contracts with many blue chip corporations and household names, and offers an outstanding progression opportunity to develop your career.

Job Description
The successful Logistics Coordinator will report into the Operations Manager and be responsible for the following:

Organising, coordination and tracking of Shipments & transport the EU into the UK
Weekly reviews of KPIs to ensure SLAs are hit
Updating internal tracking system at all points of the shipment until goods received.
Working with external stakeholders directly to solves issues and find solutions to supply.
Liaise with customers, hauliers, suppliers, and Customs Clearing Agents
Ensure clients are informed throughout the process
Log Shipping Data
Assist with Reverse Logistics
Generate and prepare relevant shipping paperwork
Analyse haulier KPIs, and ensure SLAs are agreed to
Obtain quotations from hauliers
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Logistics Coordinator will be commutable to Chesterfield, alongside displaying the following skills and attributes:

2+ Years working within a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Background within a planning, coordination or administrative capacity
Knowledge of Transport Regulations
Highly proficient in Excel e.g. VLookUps, Pivot Tables etc - Essential
Excellent Customer Service skills
Capable of managing own workload
Confident in liaising with a multitude of teams and levels within the business
