Remove restrictions 78 from license

Hi guys,

In order to find a job more easily,
I want to get a manual license,
Do I only need to pass the test for a regular vehicle?
Can it be canceled together with the restrictions 78 on the truck?

I did a duel test many moons ago if you upgrade to manual truck it will auto upgrade them all

if you’ve got a manual licence for a car and pass in an auto truck you can drive a manual truck. Weird I know. When I passed it was a proper licence but not anymore

I believe if you pass the car in manual it will update all the licenses you have required
Best person to ask is the driving instructors / dvla testers

Passed both pcv and hgv in an auto but because I have a manual car licence I was able to send my licence off to DVLA to remove restrictions

It’s the car license that needs doing manual. Apart from bike. The others are extensions on the car license

Pass a manual car license and you will get all B, C & D in manual, hence code 78 removed. But the valid from date will be changed to new date of passing manual.

Upgrade your car licence, take a test in a manual car snd code 78 will be removed.
