in all fairness not all of us work for companies who push you to the hilt so there’s no real need to know loopholes and shortcuts to remain legal. I can’t remember the last time I worked 45 hours for instance.

think you will find if your doing 3 x 15 hour shifts breaks are included, you can do 84 hours but its illegal to do 2 weeks on the run however you look at it

it’s not a 15 shift without breaks ffs.
BREAKS are not INCLUDED in the calculation of working time.
For example
15 hr less 45 mins break is 14.25
I really can’t make it any simpler

I once did a shift that was 14hrs 45 minutes long. Within that shift I did less than 6hrs in total of working time, with more than 9hrs of it being POA. I legally required zero break in that 14hr 45 minute shift. Are you saying that the entire 14hrs 45 minutes should have been added to my working time for that week?

did not say that poa if used correctly can help, however if your driving doing a job and you clock up 15 hour shift tachomaster at 15 hour 1 min will give you an infringement with break included

you still haven't answered how you can do a 15 hour day, i will rephrase it for you. You put your tacho card in at 0200 when must you take it out without using poa ???

When did I ever mention poa?
A half decent trainer wouldn’t mention 15 hr days only rest periods as no mention of it in gv 262 or ec 561/2006.

Inflation was 8 percent over the last year and 12 percent the year before. You’re down 20 percent on your pay. Literally being driven into poverty.

Annualized 48 - 51k sounds good then you see 11.50 😑
Why not average that out over the hours instead of two different rates.

you can still write hours into a contract, 60 hours for 50k would be better imo. Works out around £16 p/h

but those figures are for a 60hr week. That's why the industry panicked over the 48hr WTD week and started the driver shortage myth and ruled that we in Britain could voluntarily opt out. We have shot ourselves in the foot!!

Maximum 60 hour working week, so how can you be doing 65 hours a week? And it's 48-51k a year, but you're basically killing yourself for it!! If you were doing more like 40-50 hours a week it'd be more like 42ishk a year - not quite the headline 48-51k a year.
No doubt those interested ONLY in the pay will be falling over themselves to apply though.

The rates just are not there for trucks guys drivers want big money but there is no big rates in order to support the wages. This is way companies are closing the doors faster then you can put up post about the pay offered. With the way it is going we will all be working for the likes of culina and as soon as they have control the pay will go right down.

not really. Because 1 mass walk out on strike will cripple them.
